Schools

Fees to schools are charged by the hour (£100), where work is requested on a case by case basis. However it is more cost effective for schools to block buy EP time in terms of number of days.

When schools block buy EP time, fees to schools are charged on a daily rate of £500 per day, when purchased as a block of time, for example, X days a term. Some schools purchase as much as 1 day a week, while others buy the minimum of 3 days per year.

A day is based on 3-3.5 hours on-site delivery of psychological services and upto 3 hours off-site preparatory work, admin and short summary report writing of the work undertaken in the half day school session.

Where longer pupil reports are requested an hourly charge of £100 per extra hour will apply. This however will be agreed with the school in advance.

Block purchasing needs to be agreed at least one month (ideally one term) prior to the delivery commence period. However this is negotiable depending upon EP availability.

School Staff Training

Fees to schools with regards to developing and delivering staff training vary according to what is requested. Therefore costs will need to be discussed/agreed according to the extent of work required.

Parents

Fees to parents are charged per hour and are discussed with the family prior to any work initiated. Travel time is charged at half hourly rate.

Local Authorities

Local authorities are charged £500 per day for Silva Psychology Services, for anything upto 2 days a week per term. Working at home flexibility is desirable.
